Dr. G. Theophilou
Mr. George Theophilou is a Consultant Gynaecologist and Gynaecological Oncology Surgeon based in Leeds, specialising in advanced robotic surgery, minimally invasive surgery and complex gynaecological oncology.
With more than 15 years of specialist experience within the NHS and private healthcare, he provides expert care for women with both benign and malignant gynaecological conditions, combining surgical excellence with compassionate, patient-centred care.

Journey
After graduating with honours from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland in 2005, Mr. Theophilou completed his specialist training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology across leading hospitals in the North West of England before undertaking subspecialty fellowship training in Gynaecological Oncology at St James’s University Hospital, Leeds.
He became a Consultant Gynaecological Oncology Surgeon in 2017 and currently practises at St James’s University Hospital in Leeds while also providing private care through Spire Leeds Hospital, Spire Harrogate Clinic and Nuffield Health Leeds Hospital.
